The European Union (EU) has launched the "Building Resilient and Active Communities in Extractive Landscapes" (BRACE) project to support communities affected by mining in Ghana. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of communities and civil society organisations to confront human rights violations in the extractives sector and seek redress through advocacy, media reporting, and engagement with duty bearers.
