BRACE Strengthens Legal Support for Mining-Affected Communities

The BRACE initiative is expanding legal assistance programs for communities impacted by mining operations, aiming to provide residents in extractive regions with improved access to justice and legal resources.

The program involves collaboration between organizations including WACAM (Wassa Association of Communities Affected by Mining) and A Rocha Ghana. Through the Legal Access Fund, these groups are working to strengthen community capacity and ensure that mining-affected populations have adequate legal recourse for addressing grievances and protecting their rights.
