He is a lawyer in general practice with the reputable firm Black Star Legal Services PRUC, where he handles a wide range of legal matters including criminal law, human rights, commercial transactions, land disputes, matrimonial causes, and labour-related matters, among others.

In furtherance of his passion for justice and fairness, he also undertakes selected cases on a pro bono basis, particularly in support of vulnerable and underserved persons seeking access to justice.

Alongside his legal practice, P.D.Wedam is media practitioner currently serving as a Senior Producer at Media General, one of Ghana’s leading media conglomerates. He produces news and current affairs programmes for TV3, including the flagship programme Ghana Tonight, where complex national issues are examined with depth and balance.

As part of his work in news production, he also appears as an on-air analyst, providing clear and insightful breakdowns of complex issues, particularly those relating to law, governance, and public policy.

P.D.Wedam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies (Journalism option) and a Master’s Degree in Media Management, in addition to a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Qualifying Law Certificate (QLC). His interdisciplinary background uniquely positions him at the intersection of law, media and public advocacy.

He possesses a strong foundation in research, writing, advocacy, strategic communication, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Through his combined work in law and media, P.D.Wedam continues to contribute to public discourse, promote accountability and advance the cause of justice.
